Nature Cannot Be Fooled
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled."

About Me
My name is Cleo Maglaras, and I am a senior at Phillips Academy - Andover. My family lives in Manhattan where I attended the Spence School for 10 years before coming to Andover. I enjoy all things math and science, and I am passionate about engineering, especially as it relates to possible solutions to the climate crisis.
Forty years after the space shuttle Challenger disaster, Richard Feynman’s words sound particularly relevant today. Nature cannot be fooled, and it is up to my generation to avert the consequences of climate change that we are already witnessing.
Through a variety of independent projects, internships and advanced school courses I have been preparing myself for a career in engineering. My wish is to collaborate with like-minded professionals and academics as well as people from disciplines in policy making and government to affect a better future for all of us.
